Enhance your steaks!

Just before serving steaks, either char broiled, oven or pan fried cut up 1/4 inch slice of Beurre Manie and place on top of the  hot steak! Mmmm very French!! 

Recipe for Beurre Manie-


One stick of butter ,  2 tbs. of flour,  3 or 4 cloves of garlic well chopped and 2 tbs.of chopped parsley, mix thoroughly and roll like a sausage in plastic wrap and freeze. Slice a piece and place on top of each hot steak.

 


Pea Salad in Sea Shells

1 pkg frozen sweet peas -     
1 pkg frozen pearl onions -
2 hard boiled eggs chopped -
2 tbs. mayonnaise -
1 tbs. lemon juice -
1 tsp salt and a dash of pepper

6 leaves butter lettuces-   6 baking Sea Shells

Cook the peas and pearl onions, (direction on pkg.) drain. Add eggs and mix and let to cool. Add mayonnaise,  lemon juice, salt and pepper and mix well. Place one lettuce leaf cut to size on each Sea Shell and spoon equally the mixture, refrigerate before serving.
